Chain Conveyors
These conveyors feature double or triple and sometimes multiple strands of parallel chains running over fabricated frames and guides.
They are used where transport of goods is required, and are often used in conjunction with roller conveyors where a change in direction is required.
They are often employed for use in systems handling cartons and plastic bins, but are also commonly applied where movement of heavy loads such as pallets, stillages, drums and collapsible pallet boxes may be required. They are frequently used in manufacturing facilities and warehouses as well as in mail order and sorting distribution houses.
In certain situations where a product is irregularly shaped or has protrusions like feet that will not permit it to be handled by other conveyor styles, then our chain conveyors will often be used for the transporting job.
They lend themselves to the fitting of special chain attachments in unique and special applications.
A chain conveyor provides good positive drive and is an economical choice for transportation of goods. Long runs of chain conveyor often prove to be more economical where compared with other conveyor styles of equivalent length.
